During your consultation, the psychiatrist will review the completed psychological assessment and discuss medication options with you. If clinically appropriate, they can prescribe medication and provide ongoing medication management.

This coordinated pathway means you do not need to begin the ADHD assessment process again or repeat the comprehensive assessment already completed. It provides a clearer and more streamlined transition from diagnosis to psychiatric care while maintaining continuity between your treating professionals.
